A Victorian mining town featuring over 200 shops and restaurants, Breckenridge is a popular destination for all seasons. Especially during winter, outdoor enthusiasts appreciate annual snowfalls of approximately 355 inches. The ski resort has five peaks spanning over 2900 acres, so there's terrain to suit skiers and riders at all levels on over 180 trails (plus a whole bunch of take-your-breath-away above-treeline terrain in the high alpine that offer views for days).

Clubs representing the Florida Ski Council only adds to the enjoyment. Activities include two evening dinner/dance parties, the Florida Cup Race, lunch on the mountain, and much more.

Ski Club of Sarasota members are staying in a prime ski-in/ski-out location at Beaver Run Resort. Don't hesitate. There are only 12 total spaces available and this will sell out quickly.

Vail Resorts is not offering discounted rates for lift tickets during the Breckenridge trip. EPIC SKI PASSES ARE NEEDED. Passes purchased through Group Travel Simplicity, aka Winter Ski and Sport, qualify for a credit off the cost of the FSC Breckenridge trip. Offerings:

*7 nights’ accommodation in Breckenridge at Beaver Run Resort in Breck Studios, conveniently located ski-in/ski-out in Building 4. Each studio has an efficiency kitchenette with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. The 462 sq. ft. space has a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa with flat screen TV, private bath, and hairdryer. Property services and amenities include free WiFi, 9 hot tubs, 2 pools, an arcade, on-site spa, dining outlets and hotel services (like a front desk, parking and on-site maintenance, security, and housekeeping).

*Florida Ski Council activities include a Welcome Party on Monday evening with buffet dinner and dancing; Crazy dress-up day and Florida Cup Race on Tuesday followed by lunch on the mountain; and a farewell theme party (“Gold Diggers”) with buffet dinner and dancing, prizes for costumes, and race medals awarded.

Transportation Cost: Round-trip ground transportation between Denver and Beaver Run will be available at additional cost TBD.

Lodging and Activity Cost Without Transportation: At Beaver Run Resort in a Breckenridge Studio with 2 occupants sharing a bedroom / bath: $1620 per person
