Kick-Off Meeting
The public is invited to the annual kick-off meeting for the 2007-2008 season, scheduled for Wednesday, October 24th at Michael's on East at 7:30 PM. Trip leaders will be present to answer questions about their respective trip and provide brochures. There is no cost to attend. A cash bar and hors d'oeuvres will be available.

Annual Ski Swap
Come to our annual ski swap held in the Active Lifestyles parking lot (5900 South Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, FL  34321) on Sunday, Octber 28th starting at 1 p.m. Clean out your used clothing and ski equipment; mark it with a price, size, and your name; then just show up and watch it sell! The club will provide racks and tables for everyone to share. Remember, the swap is open to the public, but you must be present to sell your wares. Lois Lewis (941-966-7838) will chair the annual event.

Annual Picnic
On Sunday, November 4th, at 4:30 PM the Ski Club of Sarasota will host its annual picnic at Siesta Beach. Nancy and Larry Lippert (941-377-7722), chairmen, will be serving up brats, burgers, and beverages while members will bring a covered dish to share. Current members will receive a postcard with all the information.

General Meetings
The November General Meeting will be held at Selby Library Auditorium at 7:30pm on Tuesday, November 13th. The December General Meeting will be held at Selby Library Auditorium at 7:30pm on Tuesday, December 11th. Plan to attend and bring a friend! The 2008 meeting dates are to be determined.
